I posted awhile back that I was working on rebuilding the Seattle Seafair Pirates website and today I’m proud to announce the club officially voted to make me the webmaster for the Seattle Seafair Pirates!
Go check it out! https://seafairpirates.org
It took 249 commits, but I rebuilt the site using just HTML/CSS leveraging Claude as a learning project to start cutting my teeth on AI assisted development.
Security headers went from D+ to an A+, hosting costs are under a dollar per month and performance is drastically improved!
So glad to help preserve this unique, 75+ year old, piece of Seattle history and culture!
